I just had an amazing cleaning with Kylee, an experienced hygienist who is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I’m a tea and coffee lover so I get a lot of staining. Kylee took the time to determine the best instruments and methods to remove all the stain from my teeth. She was meticulous, taking extra time to evaluate potential problem spots on my teeth and ensuring that preventive measures were taken. And it’s not just Kylee; everyone I've interacted with at this office is high caliber.

I would definitely suggest that everyone who is looking for a dentist in the Phoenix area, give Dr. Stansberry a try. The staff are all very knowledgeable and friendly. The Dr. is very professional. They make it pain free and pleasant. I have no complaints.

Honestly I’m obsessed. I always have the best time when I come in. The staff is amazing and everyone is so warm. Ironically I always end up laughing with staff, too! Who can even say that about the dentist! I’ve referred best friends, exes, and even my boss! Kylie is hands down my favorite but everyone has been great! Update: I had to get a filling today. I was so anxious. Dr. Stansbury and his staff were SO incredible. Warm, understanding, dare I say fun? My appt was at 11:20 and I was out in 30 minutes! 😳😱 Everyone needs to come here.

Love Dr. Stansberry! His office is clean, comfortable and very friendly staff. Jasmine and Mandy at the front deal are amazing! Always warm and welcoming. Dr. Stansberry is gentle, thorough and very knowledgeable. We all love coming. Our son has autism spectrum disorder. His Hygenist, Michelle, is wonderful with him. She makes him feel comfortable and explains every step of the treatment. Highly recommend Northern Smiles Dentistry, Dr Troy Stansberry, and all his staff. Hope you found this review helpful.

I have never had any complaints with Northern Smiles. They have always been incredibly competent, helpful, and Dr. Stansberry is a good man who knows his stuff. I have all my regular cleanings here and had a cavity filled here as well. Friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, and good dentists. If you move to Phoenix I would definitely recommend these guys.

Michelle the hygienist is the best I ever experienced. She was so very thorough, and gentle. She has a real passion for her profession, and it shows in demeanor. She truly took her time with me educated me about dental hygiene. I highly recommend her and this office, that I have been going to for 43 years.

Second time coming into Northern smiles, and I always have a good experience. I had Michelle who did a great job cleaning my teeth, and educating me on how to floss better! Dr. Stansberry, and Michelle were both very professional, and funny. Couldn’t recommend this spot enough.

My husband Karson and I recently had our first visit at Northern Smile Dentistry, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ve put off dental visits for a long time due to anxiety and past negative experiences, but from the moment we walked in, we were met with genuine kindness, care, and understanding. Mandy and Jazmin at the front desk made us feel so welcomed and cared for right away. Their warmth set the tone for everything that followed. Carmina was gentle and incredibly thorough when taking our X-rays and walking us through the ortho process. She made something that usually feels overwhelming easy to understand and even exciting. Kylee, our dental hygienist, was amazing. She took the time to explain everything before getting started and checked in with me throughout the cleaning to make sure I was comfortable. That level of care made such a difference. Thanks to the entire team, our anxiety began to melt away. It’s such a relief to finally feel safe and cared! If you’ve ever been nervous about going to the dentist or haven’t felt truly heard as a patient, I can’t recommend Northern Smile Dentistry enough. We’re so grateful we found them.

Came here following the dental hygenist (Michelle) from another office. She cleaned my teeth for years and has always been thorough and on top of my cleanings. Stayed for her and the amazing staff. I couldn't be happier with the service I recieve at Northern Smiles.

The dentist generally isn't a fun place that you look forward to going, but there is something about Dr Stansberry and his crew that makes it more enjoyable. I formerly bought yogurt all the time and stopped about a year ago I will start back because I never had this stringy stuff until I stopped eating yogurt. Also I find i am sleeping with mouth open not sure i know how to stop i wake up and feels like someone has layed carpet in my mouth. This message i found when I googled slick mouth has been a tremendous help. Thank you Keep up the good work.

Highly recommend Dr Stansberry and staff! My husband and I moved to Northern Smiles after several bad experiences at another local dentistry. The staff at Northern Smiles are communicative, friendly and competent. Our cleanings were 10x better than previous practice we used, much more comfortable and painless. Dr. Stansberry even answered some questions I had about my daughter and we will continue to use them from now! Thank you!

As an anxious patient, this is such a warm, inviting, and relaxing dental office. Dr. Stansberry and his staff are so knowledgeable and skilled in their care. I highly recommend this dental office, and for you to support a privately owned clinic instead of a larger chain. They have amazing upgraded tech and a clean, well ran office. My teeth with Invisalign look better than I could imagine!

It is so bad that my tongue can't stand having loose particles in my mouth and therefore with aid of my teeth, bite it off. and end up biting and swallowing over 200 times a day and wearing out my enamel. This is more than Thrush and been going on for over 5 years and getting worse. Regular dentists have only prescribed mouthwash that hasn't helped. What else can it be, my hygiene is good.

Thank you to Dr. Stansberry and his staff for their consistent care and professionalism. Dental hygienist, Kylie, was thorough and kind. I appreciate her authenticity. The team in the front is always welcoming and transparent about costs. On August 9, I needed help in a dental crisis. After decades in place, the cap on my right front tooth broke. I called and was able to be fit in that morning for repair. Dr. Stansberry and his wonderful assistant spent about 10 minutes working to fix my broken smile. His expertise is top notch as is his staff’s. Northern Smiles gets my highest recommendation.

I have been going to Northern Smiles for a few years for both dentistry and orthodontics, and every experience I have had with them is a great one. I recommend to any of my friends or family to go see Dr. Stansberry and the lovely people who work there! I recently saw a different hygienist than I have in the past (Kylee) and she made my routine cleaning very comfortable and was so sweet! Also the admin staff is so helpful and clear whenever I need to call the office with a question, all around a great place!

Great Job Doc and Staff! I needed a Root canal after having a severe Gum Abscess. I heard horror stories about Root Canals, so I was apprehensive about the whole thing. Dr. Troy and his staff alleviated all my concerns and everything would be ok. Painless, effortless and quicker than I thought! I was so comfy that I fell asleep. I started coming to Northern Smiles last year when my permanent retainer became loose. Dr. Stansberry fixed that and then set me up for some deep cleanings. They weren’t fun but the hygienists at Northern Smiles are WONDERFUL so they made it as comfortable as possible. They also give actionable advice for how to see progress — at past dentists I’ve just been told “take better care of your teeth” but here they’ll tell me exactly what I need to do in order to keep my teeth and gums happy. Shoutout to Andria and Taylor for being especially wonderful and helpful!!

I came to Dr. Stansberry initially for a crown. I had been going to the same dentist for 20 years but when I had one of my crowns fail for the 3rd time I decided I needed a change. The crown that Dr. Stansberry did was the jackpot and is still going strong. Amy was my hygienist and she was very good at her job. Jody is who I see now and I didn't think I could like anyone better than I did Amy but to my surprise I do. Jody's years of experience and her knowledge is amazing. She gets in there gets them cleaned and you are on your way.

As I was leaving this office yesterday, I was glad that Dr. Stansberry is younger than I am so hopefully I will never have to find another dentist. The fact that they thrive independently tells you how good he and his staff are. I know how difficult that is in a corporate managed care system. He has helped my wife and I for many years and we both have all our teeth at nearly 70 years old.

I have been Troy's patient for some years now and by far he's been the best dentist in my life. I have had many type of dental procedures, from simple cleanings to veneers and implants, and every single time he made it easy and comfortable. Taylor is a great hygienist and she did a thorough job cleaning my teeth. However, they are requiring masks still (which I have no issue with) but there was a staff member not wearing her mask at some points and then not wearing it properly. One of the receptionists made a patient put on their mask but the staff member right behind her wasn’t even wearing hers... it just doesn’t make sense nor does it seem safe.

We have been so happy with Northern Smiles! Our family has been going here for almost 10 years. They have given us great care & always so respectful. Never have made any of our 3 kids uncomfortable. I recently visited my Dentist, Dr. Troy Stansberry and dental hygienist Megan R. I had a great experience! The whole process and interaction with the whole staff was professional and welcoming. I had a few check up xrays, exam and a cleaning. I didn’t have anything that required dental work, but I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Stansberry’s modern technology in the office. He is very friendly, caring and informative. My hygienist Megan R was great! I’ve always been a little nervous with my dental needs, but both Dr. Stansberry and Megan made me feel welcomed and comfortable. They play great music btw!! Don’t change it!! Anyways, I highly recommend this practice. As a working professional, I observed many things they do to reassure me they are on their game.

Northern Smiles has a very nice office in a convenient part of town. The front desk person was very welcoming in person and on the phone. My dental hygienist listened with compassion to my circumstances which put me at ease right away. Finally, I am very appreciative how Dr. Stansberry had immediate solutions to my problem. He took care of my most pressing issues right away during my first appointment which is a sharp contrast to what I'm used to at other offices. I look forward to my future appointments at Northern Smiles.

Everyone is really nice and welcoming. The receptionist always has a smile on her face and the dental technicians are not only super pleasant, but they’re also quick and thorough. I’ve always had a great experience and I highly recommend this office. The office is easy to pass by, though, because there isn’t a sign out front at the moment. The building is pretty nondescript. So, be on the lookout when you get close!

Today was my first time coming to this dentist office (referred by family). And from the second I entered everyone was so friendly, so helpful. They had wonderful hospitality, and everyone was laid back, like you could have a really interesting conversation it wasn't all business and serious. You could enjoy a laugh while going over your treatment plan an what not. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new place to go. I would give them 10 stars if possible. I'm grateful to find this place because my last dentist office was rude. Wouldn't converse with you. Straight to the point, maybe if that's your thing you'd like it but for me I like nice people who are helpful and real with you. I look forward to coming back.

I have been to a few dentist offices and I have to say this is by far the most welcoming professional group of staff I have encountered. Cynthia, Gwen and Dr. Stansberry did an amazing job to make me feel welcomed. Not once did they make me feel embarrassed or ashamed but instead were to the point on what needed to be done and created a plan. I have scheduled my next 2 appointments to get this plan in action along with my six month follow up. This is a small, clean and professional dental office.

Everyone in the office are very professional and they are willing to work with you. I've been going here for a few months now but I feel like it's been years! Had an amazing experience at this dental practice. It had the old fashioned feel of a family practice. Was immediately struck with how professional and skilled the team was. I was recommended this place by my coworker, and it was such a good experience in comparison to my last dentist’s office. Everyone is super friendly. Cindy, the front office person, is always helpful when you call and she was kind enough to go over and print me a copy of my insurance with me. Amy did a very thorough job at my cleaning. She did not rush through the process at all and answered all my questions and concerns. Dr. Stansbury was also very friendly. Overall, I’m very happy to have found this place.

All of the staff is so nice and personable. Amy remembered life events I had told her about the year prior and Dr Stansberry does a great job. My teeth didn't hurt at all after I got fillings like they have with other dentists. They are also very timely and I never wait long for my appointment!

Today was our first visit at a new dentist in 15 years. We were referred by a friend. Tina in the front was my first contact with the office, she was very welcoming and helped me schedule myself and my whole family. The assistant Candace was also very welcoming, gentle and explained everything she was doing. Dr. Stansberry is very knowledgeable and has a conservative approach, which is what I love! I’m comfortable and confident in our new dental office. 👌🏽

Dr Stansberry is the best dentist that I have ever had. He is a compassionate and caring dentist, and is committed to helping me find and eliminate my tooth pain. And his staff is great too! They have embraced technology ... the text reminders for appointments allow me to book my cleanings in advance and not miss appointments.

Dr. Troy and the staff are AWESOME. I had 3 abscessed teeth, no insurance and was in dire need of help. They immediately were willing to work with me and got me treated ASAP. Northern Smiles have gone above and beyond ANY dentistry I've ever heard of or experienced. I feel so relaxed and comfortable going to every visit. I've been a patient with Northern Smiles for the last four years and couldn't be any more happier. My experience started with a root canal so you can imagine how nervous I was. I was quickly at ease from the initial phone call from the receptionist at the time by her welcoming voice and genuine concern. Dr Troy Stansbury and Gwen are remarkable and awesome at what they do. Went in for a second opinion after spending endless amounts of money on my teeth. After several what i call corporate dentists advised me that i need 2 root canals i knew something wasnt right. After my visit i am now a lifetime customer. I felt so comfortable and learned my teeth are just fine and i am no longer stressing over my teeth. I think my dental anxiety will be just fine!!! :)

I have had a great experience with each Vista with Dr. Stansbury and his staff. Gwinn has cleared my teeth twice and has always been through but gentle and I never feel I'm in the chair too long. Dr. Stansbury recommend a treatment plan and addressed all of my concerns while the front desk has been wonderful to work with in creating a payment an that is affordable for me. There office is clean comfortable!

This practice has always been great, and has only improved with their move to the excellent facility on n. 16th St. Dr. Stansberry is cordial, thorough, and totally professional. He has assembled a terrific staff that reflects those same values of courtesy and excellence. The result is a very pleasant experience (something you don't always say about a dental visit!) and excellent care for my teeth and mouth. I am comfortable and confident in the care I receive here, and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. I am glad I found them, and can recommend them without reservation. I can honestly say I have less compunction about going, and am benefiting from improved dental health. Thanks!!!

We are so grateful to have found such a great orthodontist. The space is beautiful, the staff are super friendly and Dr. Devin Johnson is awesome. My 8 year old is excited to go because of all I've mentioned, plus a fantastic reward program that motivates the kids to take care of their braces and teeth. We were referred by our dentist, but after mentioning it to a few friends they all raved about their experiences as well!
