Advanced training
His VA residency covered ground most general dentists never train in directly: oral surgery, anesthesiology, emergency medicine, implants, prosthodontics, periodontics, geriatrics, and the treatment of medically compromised patients.
That breadth is why complex cases — patients on multiple medications, or needing surgery alongside restorative work — can often be handled here rather than referred out.
Clinical focus
Serving Phoenix and the surrounding Valley since qualifying, with an emphasis on cosmetic and restorative care.
A note on how Dr. Stansberry practises
Patients tell us the thing they notice first is being told what does not need treating. A tooth that is being watched, a small chip that is stable, an old filling that is still doing its job — those get explained rather than replaced. When treatment is genuinely needed, you get the reasoning, the alternatives, and the cost in writing before anything is scheduled.
That approach is also why continuing education matters here. Materials and techniques in implantology and restorative dentistry move quickly, and keeping current is what makes conservative treatment possible — doing less, and having it last.
Dr. Stansberry reviews the clinical guidance published on this site. If you have a question about your own situation, get in touch or read about what to expect at your first visit.

"My goal is to help you achieve and maintain a healthy smile, so you can avoid the need for restorative work. When restorative work is necessary, I think you'll be impressed with the beauty and lifelike appearance of my work."
